Something that could have been a one-night stand she’d remember fondly or maybe even something more. He seemed like a nice guy, like someone she would have seen how things could have gone with if she was someone else.
Instead, he was someone she’d never see again and soon forget she’d ever spoken to once the guilt she felt for the way she left things had faded away.
Emily is very protective of her life and her heart, and has told herself for years that it's better if she's alone. Then, one day, she meets Aaron Hotchner and everything changes.
