“So…erm…what’re you wearing?”
“Potter, I will hang up this phone right the fuck now,” Regulus hissed, laying back on the bed with a huff and scowling at the picture of himself and James that sat on the bedside table.

Summary
When James Potter arrives at a sun-bleached Italian villa for the summer, he expects wine, quiet, and good company (all courtesy of his best mate Sirius Black and his professor father’s academic retreat.) What he doesn't expect is Regulus: Sirius’ younger brother, brilliant, aloof, and as sharp-edged as he is unreadable.
Regulus has no interest in entertaining another one of Sirius’ charming friends. But James is different. He's golden, careless, impossible to ignore.

Summary
It’s the night of the full moon, and Sirius got himself a werewolf to slaughter.
But the werewolf has a book he wants to finish reading, and Sirius is cruel but not *that* cruel.
***
“Will you at least tell me who you are?” The werewolf’s voice is surprisingly steady.
Again, Sirius remains quiet, but he crouches down, grabs the werewolf by his face, turns it left then right. There are scars there, but there are also freckles.
The man of the moon looks like he’s been sun kissed.
“I’d like to know the name of the man planning to kill me.”

Summary
Portland (OR), 1971.
They could have been driving for days, or mere seconds, the road a black wound on the earth, slipping fast and blurry beneath them. It was an endless repeating scene of fields and grain silos, rusted sheds and vacant, soulless land— the same stretch of film, looped over and over again.
Remus felt light, lighter than air, stuck floating in his own bloodstream. It was like his soul wasn’t quite tethered to the earth but for his fingertips, where Sirius’s warmth seeped through his jacket into Remus’s hands.
He squeezed his eyes shut, the roaring of the bike and the wind in his ears so impossibly loud that for a moment he worried he’d never hear again. Maybe he never would. Maybe this was it: one last endless dream. Maybe they’d ride and ride and ride and never arrive anywhere at all. Maybe there was nowhere left to go.OR:
Remus Lupin doesn't know much, but he knows the American dream is just that. A dream.
It's harder to believe it, though, when Sirius Black is looking at him.
