“Don’t you want to take mine instead?” He lids his eyes, flashing a smile. “Join me?”
“Wouldn’t that be a hassle?” Nagi asks with bored eyes. “We’d have to take turns showering..”
Oh, god no. Not again.
Or; Reo plans on making Nagi realise he’s the best suitable mate for him to start courting, even if it takes weeks of hints towards it, hints Nagi can’t seem to catch.

Reo finally looked at him because Nagi wasn’t letting go of the bottle and he was so close that Reo could breathe him in. He couldn’t identify another scent intertwined with Nagi’s, yet he could still see those marks under Nagi’s jaw, all the way to the collar of his shirt.
He couldn’t stop his retort, or the bitterness it was laced with. “Well, you don’t hook up with people but we’re trying new things this week, apparently.”
Or: Alphas and omegas can be great platonic friends, but Nagi and Reo just can't. With rumors and suitors threatening the stability of their friendship, they may have to come clean about what they truly want from each other. Even if confessing could change their relationship, or worse yet, break their hearts.

”Nagi, are you okay? You seem… upset.”
Nagi finally tears his eyes away from his phone. He blinks at Isagi. Now that he’s looking up, Isagi can see that Nagi really does seem upset. Not wildly so, that would be too uncharacteristic of him, but there’s definitely a crease to his brows that usually isn’t there. Isagi expects Nagi to dismiss his question with a noncommittal response, but to Isagi’s surprise, something else comes out of Nagi’s mouth.
”I miss my boyfriend.”
There’s a lot to unpack there. To think that Nagi would miss someone at all, enough to mope and stare at his phone is a bit surprising on its own, but a bit more pressing than that is the fact that—
“You have a boyfriend?” Bachira blurts out incredulously. Chigiri’s mouth is fully hanging open.
“Oh,” Nagi says. “Yeah, I do.”
