    That dear Devil of his, of course, but miss Tall, Dark, and Handsome, too. She's real special, when it comes down to it. 

    Dead one second, alive the next. Now you see her, now you don't. She's magic, but he is too.

    Probably wouldn't even think about her so much if she didn't come back and he can't abide by a job half done, but she wasn't ever really a job. No, she was personal, since she took his job and all.
