Summary
Guns were coming into Crime Alley. Fork found in kitchen, right? But, these guys couldn't care who they were selling to. Normally, Jason would just take over the deals and keep the profit, but these guys, whoever, had no problem selling to kids. Red Hood already had to stop three shootings, all kids under seventeen years old.
So, when he got the tip-off about the building these guys were supposedly camping at, he knew he wanted this issue solved posthaste.
Maybe that meant skipping on the stake-out, sure, or not doing as thorough of scouting, but this had to stop.
He only really regretted it once he heard some familiar beeping in the room next over.

Or! Jason gets hurt and a very familiar (albeit annoying) shade of blue is there to help him when he wakes up!

A gas leak forces Bruce to make an emergency 9-1-1 call and evacuate the Manor. Twelve-year-old Jason, fresh off the streets and unsure of his place in the family, severely misinterprets the situation when Bruce abruptly scoops him out of bed and rushes him outside in the middle of the night with no explanation.

“How old did you say Superboy was again?”
Clark shrugged. “Well we think he’s around sixteen biologically. But he was grown in a tube in a matter of a couple months. And has only been out of the pod for a month or so. Why?”
“Moro reflex.” Was all Bruce said as he continued watching the boys spar.
“What?”
“Moro reflex,” He repeated. “The startle reflex newborns have when they fall or get scared. They throw their arms up on instinct to clutch to their parent. It goes away after a few months. Then when they get older and start walking their instinct changes to put their arms down to catch themselves.”
“Okay?” Clark said slowly. “Now that you explain it, yeah. I remember that when Jon was a baby.”
“Superboy still has his Moro reflex.”
-- Or, in which part of Superboy's brain still think's he's a newborn and Clark loses his mind over it.--
