Summary
Sometime in the 80s, Stan Pines finally decides enough is enough and leaves Rico and the drug business behind for good. He makes his way to Florida, already having warrants out for his arrest there and making it unlikely that Rico would try to look for him there. Except as soon as he gets to Miami, Florida he is roped into the drug crime there.
Sonny Crockett is working Vice with Rico Tubbs when they bust a group of drug dealers, happening to include a one Stan Pines. They give him an option of being arrested or working for them as an informant.
Stan chooses the latter.
