Summary
Upon turning eighteen, your soulmate's name appears on your left arm. Alastor had always abhorred the idea of another's name etched onto his skin. On the fateful evening, Alastor discovers that, not only does he have a soulmate, but he is matched with a being he didn’t even believe existed—The Devil himself.
Names weren’t part of the original design. Lucifer and Lillith changed that. Eve’s name bloomed across Adam’s arm just moments before she stepped into the garden. Lucifer was cursed to see the pain in Lillith’s eyes each time her gaze flitted between their blank arms year after decade, after century, after millennia, until the day her soulmate's name emerged. Summary
Sokka receives an offer of an arranged marriage from the Northern Water Tribe. On the one hand, accepting would strengthen ties between their tribes. On the other hand, Chief Arnook has suggested Hahn as a potential match, and Hahn sucks. But with the future of the Southern Water Tribe Reconstruction project relying heavily on the good will of the North, Sokka doesn’t know how to say no.
(Katara doesn’t have to deal with this. Katara is dating the Avatar.)
Zuko has a solution. Sokka just wishes he’d realized he was in love with the Fire Lord before he agreed to pretend to date him.

Zuko is emphatically not going to do anything about the way he feels. He's not going to stare at Sokka, and he's not going to spend any time alone with him, and he's definitely, definitely not going to think about what it would be like to hold Sokka's face in his hands.
Zuko's not going to do anything at all, because he can't shake the absolute certainty that that's the only way they both get out of this alive.
