Erwin isn’t sure if he can see out of his left eye, but in that moment, it could well be penetrating his heart. “Ah, that is. In your letter, you didn’t mention much. Of what you expected from me during this session.”
The Captain takes so long to answer, that Erwin begins to think he does not feel inclined to say anything at all. He finishes his tea, and returns his cup to the tray. “What does your job usually entail?”
“Usually? Well, I might accompany a client to an event, or have dinner with them, or simply keep them company.”
“Do you have sex with them?”
“Yes.” Erwin swallows.
