“She moans my name,” you whisper in his face with a wicked grin, and the next thing you know you’re pinned against the wall with his forearm pressed against your neck.
“Shut the fuck up!” He screams into your face.
The anger you feel towards him bubbles up inside of you and spits out onto his face in a hot, wet clump that lands right on his cheek, “Go. Fuck yourself,” you continue in a whisper.

You’re traveling to Jackson, Wyoming with Abby and the rest of the Salt Lake Crew in search of Joel Miller. Owen has never liked you, and he especially doesn’t like you now that he no longer has his claws in Abby, no thanks to you knocking some sense into her by showing her what love and pleasure really feels like. While out on a supply run, you get into a heated argument about Abby, rubbing it in his face. He becomes overwhelmed with rage and beats you to a pulp, leaving you to die inside a random building in Idaho. You don't know how he convinced the others to leave without you, but you persevere and lick your wounds, continuing your trek to Jackson, and determined to find Owen and make him pay for leaving you to die all alone.

Summary
