He hasn’t cried since they brought home his brother’s misshapen armor without his brother in it.
He didn’t cry when his oldest friend, the one he looked up to the most, became a bloodthirsty madman in front of his eyes. He didn’t cry when his father made it obvious that even like that, the Boar was still more precious to him than his only remaining son and his own life. He didn’t cry when he killed enemies on the battlefield, even when they had been classmates. He didn’t cry when Bernadetta burnt to death on her hill for the Emperor who had ordered the fire to be lit.
He’s not going to cry for a fucking cat.
