Summary
“I’ve got your precious Hero, now,” Dynamight taunts, and Shindo tenses at the low, mocking voice. Dynamight is staring right into the camera, and in the background, you can hear the shuddering, fearful breath of the news reporter. However, Dynamight only smirks once more into the camera, before turning on his heels, his quirk activating as explosions form from his feet, propelling him up into the air and disappearing in a cloud of black smoke.
Panicked murmurings erupt all around Shindo, causing him to blink back into reality. Holy shit, not again. It’s the third time this year, already, and it’s only April. He grits his teeth, turning away from the large television as the news anchors’ debate on what the Heroes will do now that Deku has been taken, again.
Shindo finds himself booking it back to the agency he works with, feeling something like dread and nausea fill up his stomach. He can’t believe what is happening with Deku. He’s kept his distance, hoping for Deku to come to him , but now, Shindo realizes that he must step up and be a man for Deku.
