“Now, Elliot, what biscuit do you want to try? It is sugar cookie with sweet icing,” she said. “I think biscuit Elliot looks very sweet, but I also love his little smile. Papa is very refined and dressed so well. He must be going to a party at Lady Danbury’s. I think my biscuit would give him a little kiss on the cheek right there.”
Pen took her own biscuit self and hovered it above the Colin biscuit. Once she had made a kissy noise, she kissed Elliot biscuit’s face and then went close to the boy’s face. He laughed and put his hand out, smudging his thumb through the swirls of pattern on her dress.
“Uh-oh! Mama’s icing came off!”
His son licked at it, and the pale blue must have been delightful because he reached to take the whole biscuit. Colin did not know why he snatched it away. He realized his error when Elliot flinched, and his face crumpled.

Summary
This is a Polin and Pawlin Plushie love story, based on a comic strip made by Rottentiger. Colin asks permission from Penelope to think of her when he is alone in bed, and she grants him ethical pervert status. Her imagination is whetted to know what he thinks of her, and their plush rabbits do their best to inform them that the unspoken feelings are deeper than they seem on both sides. Bunelope decides to use her access to Colin's late night conversations with Penelope to write her speculations in Lady Plushiedown's blog revealing who is bedding down together in the group of London young people.
I will link to the relevant comic if it is posted on tumblr and Rottentiger is agreeable.

“She will be loathsome and contrary if she is bored, Papa,” he said. “She will be vexed without her books. Can she do her writing?”
His father shook his head. “Technically, I might be kicked out if I chat with her too much. Her belly is only letting her have very plain food, so I will have the same. We do not think you need to be bored with us. In fact, Mama will need extra stories once she has rested. If you were to go and have adventures, you could come home and tell her about them,” he said, replacing Elliot’s handkerchief by folding his own bigger one and fighting a bit with the pocket.
His ideas were surprising for his parents, and his stories were unique. Mama and Papa had read so many books finding a truly novel event delighted them. Elliot needed help to write things down, but he did not need help to find the words in his mind. But it did not feel right to leave Mama when she was sent to bed.
“I would have to tell Mama I was going, because it is not far but she cannot be made to worry,” he said. “And Horse will need to see her. He is not used to being away from home.”

Summary
For years, Colin Bridgerton has behaved as though Penelope Featherington belongs especially to him. His family has noticed. Penelope has certainly noticed. Colin, unfortunately, has not.
But when Penelope enters society and the rest of the ton begins to admire what he has known since he was eleven, Colin finds himself objecting to an increasing number of perfectly innocent men and growing rather less convinced that what he feels is only protectiveness.
Or: Colin has spent years acting like Penelope is exclusively his and is very annoyed that society appears to agree. As if he has been obvious.

Summary
This is my reimagining of Season 3 keeping the lessons aspect in tact but adding in a marriage of convivence and various elements from the book. I will address Lady Whistledown but there will be 100% LESS ANGST.
Penelope asks Colin for lessons in flirting to help her secure a proposal. After a slow burn revelation Colin realizes he is Pen's best chance at freedom... IF she agrees to one little demand... a goodnight kiss, every night before bed. Pen can hardly believe her ears, let alone believe her own mouth when she agrees to his request. Will Penelope finally get over her insecurities? How can Colin ever convince her of his feelings after what he told Fife?
In a marriage of connivence, where one friend is hopelessly in love and the other friend insists on affection, hilarity ensues and maybe they can figure out how to make it all work in the end... no matter how many awkward good night kisses it takes to get there. After all: they say you should never go to bed angry.
