Colin saw Penelope's hesitation at the meaning. "You don't have to say anything back. Regardless of what I say or do, you're not obligated to do anything or say anything back." He smiled.
She doesn't? "You...don't want anything from me?" Confusion was laced in her voice.
"Oh, make no mistake. I want everything from you." He growled and tightened his hold on her. "I just don't want anything that you're not willing to give."
Colin was amused with the confused look she's giving him. "Your happiness and well-being are all that matters to me. If you're happy, I am too." He grinned when she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.
