Summary
It's been too long since Aymeric saw Estinien last. Even longer since he actually had some time off.
The night before they leave together for Tuliyollal, however, he's not even packed. He keeps waiting for something bad to happen to call the whole thing off. Ishgard goes up in flames. Estinien disappears to some other corner of the star. The Final Days succeed in destroying their world as they know it...
"It's been too long," Estinien tells him. And as he holds him, Aymeric's anxieties finally, finally unravel.
"It has."

“Oh! Another direct hit!– It seems even the champion is not immune to Honey B.’s charm!” Metem's spirited commentary filled the small space as the screen flashed pink, the fourth heart in the bar above his past-self's head filled thanks to a clever bit of editing meant to help the audience keep track of how much of Honey B.'s venom needed to be injected before her opponent was overwhelmed. The corner of his mouth upturned as right on cue the screen flashed purple, the crowd erupting into cheers as his own feral soul surged to life. “It seems I spoke too soon! The Tyrant has activated the full strength of his feral soul to completely shrug off Honey B.’s charm!”
Shifting Tyrant tried to ignore the erratic beating of his heart as the elevator came to a stop, kicking off the wall to stroll into the President's penthouse office without hesitation as the doors slid open–
“Back so soon?”

Summary
A hunt takes Estinien across the Highlands, but a cold, bitter storm makes him take shelter at Camp Dragonhead. Haurchefant is as happy to see him as always, his warmth rivaling that of the roaring fireplace. Estinien isn't safe for long, though. The young Lord begins asking too many questions. Questions about Aymeric. Dangerous questions.
"You wouldn't know anything about our friend's mystery lover, would you? Why, it wouldn't happen to be you, would it? Or do you think it's me?"
The danger only grows when Aymeric himself arrives. Haurchefant's damned curiosity grows too great.
