After Deku's admission into Yuuei and the outcome of the Trial of Battle, Bakugou can no longer look down on Deku as the absolutely inferior idiot he'd always thought of him as. With that out of the way, he's starting to see something else in his childhood sort-of friend but mostly object of ridicule. However, he's not sure how to feel about that something else, or about Deku in general anymore.

“Hey, what’s up? Is something wrong?" Naruto’s concerned voice bleeds through. Naruto’s voice must do something to Sasuke because it triggers an immediate release of all the tension in his shoulders and sends tears flooding his eyes. He sniffs once, in a very dignified manner, before answering.
“I may or may not have left my keys inside when I picked up the kids and locked us out.” Sasuke offers, his voice only cracking once.
“Oh shit, really?” Naruto responds.
“Yes, really.” Sasuke definitely does not whine. “I don’t know what to do. The kids think we don't have a house and won’t stop crying and everything is going to shit.”

The sound instantly broke Sasuke's concentration. He tensed and turned his body quickly, coming face to face with Naruto and the scissors still open in the air. His eyes widened in surprise as he instinctively brought a hand to the back of his head.
“What did you just do?” Sasuke asked, his voice not angry, but pure disbelief.
