Summary
The first two nights, Harry sleeps like the dead— or, well, maybe that's not the best comparison, given the number of inferi attacks reported lately.
He sleeps like a log. Like a dead log. An un-re-animated dead log. From an everyday, inanimate, non-whomping tree.
After that, Harry wakes up screaming more nights than not, and he even cries on the bad ones, which makes James cry too. In this regard, James reckons that his first week of parenting a full-grown teenage adult bears an awful lot of resemblance to parenting a newborn baby. He feels both blessed and terrifyingly out of his depth.

Summary
“Hey, I don’t know if you remember when we were introduced before,” Sam said, taking a chance and meeting Barnes’ eyes directly. Barnes didn’t puff up at all, just held Sam’s gaze calmly. “I’m Sam Wilson. Steve here’s my jogging partner.”
Steve hummed consideringly. “‘Partner’ is a bit of a stretch, don’t you think?”
“Oh, is that how it is? You wanna do a lap right now? ‘Cause I’ll go, Rogers, I’m ready whenever you are. And I seem to remember I won our last little race.”
“Because you brought your wings, you big cheater.”
Oh. Barnes was smiling, a tiny little curl that wavered and then steadied as he looked at Steve’s indignant expression.
“You never said foot race,” Sam said, for at least the dozenth time.
(Bucky meets the other Avengers, and he and Steve work some things out.)

Summary
“Hey, there,” a voice says.
He feels very warm and heavy, but he lifts his head, blinks to clear his eyes. The omega is smiling down at him. He knows the omega. The omega--
“You’ve slept for a while,” the omega says. “Breakfast came while you were out. You hungry?”
He remembers. He is in a cell, he was captured, he was caught and drugged and chained. They put him in the cell, and then the omega put himself in the cell, and something about that is wrong. The omega should not be in a cell. The omega is--
“You shouldn’t be here,” he says, and the omega’s face goes blank and shocked, like he’s been sucker-punched. That is wrong, that is very wrong. The omega sits back and takes his warm safe arms away, and that is awful.
(Continuation of I Get Sentimental When You Hold Me Tight, this time from Bucky's POV.)
