Summary
In order to force/inspire ourselves to write prompts, we started creating challenges for ourselves. How many odd combo requests could we tackle? How many pieces can we write in an hour? Drabble Battles was one the challenges that became an event for us. It was a way to clear the inbox faster and to push ourselves in fun/new/interesting ways. Sometimes we were fruitful; sometimes.... not so much. It's all in making an attempt, right?

MadloveforRK is a writing group on tumblr, on which we'd attempt to tackle and post responses to prompts/demands/wishes/challenges from other fans and shippers of R and K. Sometimes writing felt like drilling holes into my own brain, but other times, I was actually pleased with the results. Whether I love them or hate them, I'm archiving everything I wrote here.

“Wait right here a sec!” The man put out his arm as if that on its own would stop Ilya from running away, Ilya had no plans to run anytime soon that was for sure. “Here, another map so you don’t get lost again. Not that you will, it just might help.” The man was haphazardly working his way through his words too, maybe he had been mutually charmed. Or maybe he knew who Ilya was and was actually just trying hard not to ask for a photo, he really hoped that wasn’t the case.
”Thanks, if I do get lost I’ll make sure to look for the penguins to find you.” The stranger’s cheeks reddened, Ilya’s new favourite view.
