“Where’s your hotel?” Lando asked, his eyes locked on Daniel’s mouth.
“About fifteen minutes by car,” Daniel replied, the words heavy on his tongue. It was starting to get hard not to stumble over his words, especially with the way Lando was staring at him.
“That’s closer than mine,” Lando said, eyes flicking back to his mouth.
Daniel swallowed. “Do you want me to call an Uber?”
Lando looked back up at his eyes. “Do it.”

Summary
“Thank you,” Lando mumbles from where his head is pressed into the pillow. “Love you, Danny.”
“You’re welcome,” Dan replies with a quiet voice, and pats Lando over the duvet before he stands up. He pretends he didn’t hear the last part – he knows Lando wouldn’t say it if he were sober, doesn’t know whether or not he means it.

Charles smiles beatifically. “There you are.”
“Stop looking at me like that,” Sebastian grumbles.
“Like what?”
“Like you want to eat me.”
Charles giggles at that, dimples on full display. His angelic countenance is misleading, because the sweetness of his smile is a sharp contrast to the predatory hunger of his gaze. “But I kind of do want to eat you,” Charles says. His tone takes on provocative intent. “Especially here.”
Sebastian almost jolts up the bed as Charles reaches between his thighs to press his fingers against Sebastian's tender, swollen rim.

Summary
Daniel took an interest in him back when they were teammates and, for some reason, wasn’t kicking him out of his house now. Even though it was late and they had nothing to talk about.
Because Max had no reason to be there.
“Shame you’re leaving in the morning,” Daniel said, breaking Max out of his thoughts.
“Why’s that?”
“I was going to hike up in the mountains tomorrow morning. It would be nice to smoke you on the trails just like I’m going to do on the track.”
And, like, Daniel was just filling the air. Because he knew how to talk to people and knew how to fill the silence, but for some reason, Max found himself saying: “I could push my flight.”
And, just, what?!
OR: The slow burn, Max and Daniel origin story set in pre-season 2021 that nobody asked for, and how I think post-race Abu Dhabi should have gone down. Viva la Maxiel.
