    Bruce twists around in a snap of a finger and grabs the weapon, using the guy's momentum against him. He yanks the crowbar, pulling the man forwards. He hits the ground with a loud, bruising thud, only to be grabbed by the collar of his shirt by the Batman. The stout yet well-built man blubbers as he’s shoved roughly against the wall. Bruce growls, eyes narrowed upon the criminal under his cowl. “Start. Talking.” He punctuates his words with a menacing sneer; mainly for the intimidation factor. “Who are you working for? What’s in the crate.?”

    "By midnight, Damian was supposed to be halfway into patrol with all of his siblings present to accompany him.
    They have a cake hidden in a warehouse, where some of their friendlier villains agreed to get chased to (yes, they could get a piece of the cake too). Many of Damian's pets are already stated there, including Goliath, with Kevin watching and tending to them in the time being. And after they got to the warehouse, and ate the cake, damian would have been gifted a range of exquisitely made weapons and art supplies. all but from red robin, who has gotten the kid a signed manga book. And Damian would have had a wonderful birthday.

    But that's not what's going to happen. "

    " Steph shook her head in fondness. Damian might not be her little brother, but he was the closest to one. She still remembered that day, when she had brought him to the Moonbounce and was rewarded with Damian’s genuinely smiling, possibly for the first time in his miserable 10 years of life. She remembered hoping, praying, that for all his bravado and sharp exterior, this kid would get to live out his childhood to the best that he could. He didn’t need to grow up into a fine young man, or become a medical student, or a respected vigilante. She just wanted him to have a childhood.
