Summary
And Ryujin is her fucking Frankenstein at this point, with how many times Sayeon’s brought her reanimated corpse back to life.
Again and again. She scrapes bottom and then digs another two feet deeper and Sayeon’s sure she’ll pay the price for it later down the line but right now the thought of being alone swallows up her typical sturdy reasoning. (She’s cheating life and she knows you don’t get to make that bargain without losing something in the process.)
But it doesn’t matter. Again and again and again, she snaps her fingers and Ryujin opens her eyes. Blue washes over the world as Ryujin’s cells stitch themselves back together across time. Sayeon brings her back to life just to have her spit in her face and trample over her ideals and then wonders why she does it at all.
The alternative scares her more than the reality though she isn’t quite sure why. But she can’t lose Ryujin—she just can’t.
She’ll rewind time as many times as it takes.

Summary
Glasses sleeps like a fucking robot because of course she does. Her hands are still at her side, bent at a perfect 180° angle and Ryujin’s not fully convinced that if she popped open her chest, there’d be a beating heart there instead of a AA battery.
It’s only the subtle rise and fall of her chest as Min does 80 on the freeway that keeps her sane. Up and down and up again. It’s horribly methodical but it’s something–and something means that she’s still alive.

Summary
Like everything Kaveh did, it was ostentatious. Did Kaveh think his stare to be discrete? He hadn’t improved in concealing it at all over the past few weeks. Perhaps this was the point, however, in that he had something to say, but no means to speak it aloud. In that case, he would be waiting for some sign of encouragement, but whenever Alhaitham met his eye, his attention would be diverted elsewhere, like he hadn’t been looking at Alhaitham, unblinking, for the span of a minute.
It was becoming a common occurrence, which, in itself, wouldn’t be a problem. As it stood though, it was a point of concern as it was difficult to pinpoint Kaveh’s intentions. If the answer wasn’t immediate, then it was to be traced back in order to identify the root cause. As such, the results of his observations weren’t unexpected.
Kaveh had taken to staring at him, in an increased capacity, since the Ley Line incident.
(When a faulty Ley Line confines Alhaitham's consciousness into the form of a cat based upon a desire, it is fulfilled by Kaveh. Following this, a shift occurs in their relationship. What first is perceived as progress, quickly spirals into the negative as Kaveh's recent indulgent behaviour abruptly stops.)
