Rin didn't want to be the best. Soccer had simply been a reason to play alongside his older brother. Now Sae didn't need him anymore, and Rin felt so lost that he didn't know what to do now.

After being diagnosed with Optic Neuropathy, Yukimiya knew his time would run out eventually. In the meantime, he put his all into making sure his vision would last during his stay at Blue Lock—during his journey to becoming the best striker. Fortunately, he was able to find a treatment plan that would ensure his condition wouldn’t get any worse.
