    It was supposed to be a B mission, but Itachi ended up almost losing his life to the Monster of the Mist. At the end of it, he's sure he only got to be the one who walked out of Iron Country alive because he was the one that needed to live the most. He had to be home to finish the mission. He had to keep his part of Danzou's deal. But killing Kisame Hoshigaki changed all his plans.

    Kisame never begged, not once in his life. The first time he did was when the Uchiha put him to sleep in that red bloody nightmare. Whatever force of the Universe listened to his desperate pleas, it had great expectations of what he was going to do with the new life he gained. He was reluctant, but he knew he couldn't disappoint.

    Itachi and Kisame were the turning point of each other's lives, but they don't know that yet.
