Crowley was still as stone beside him. His ears were cherry-red. “So...if we pretend we’re in a relationship, we’ll be safe.”

“And that would, that would involve, what?” he spoke hesitantly, softly. “Holding your hand, telling you that you mean a lot to me, kissing you for them to see?”
Two great hands were constricting Aziraphale’s lungs. He fought back an undignified wheeze. “Yes, I think so.”
“I can do that,” he croaked.

In a panic, Aziraphale tells the archangels he survived hellfire due to his soul mixing with Crowley's because they're in a romantic and sexual relationship. They want him to prove it. Cue a fake relationship.Series

Summary
Bill Cipher became an artist to show Euclydia the stars.
Paintings of the starry sky, invisible to the Euclidean eye, were hung in numerous art galleries. But its cheap imitation was not enough to satisfy Bill. In fact, he still felt alone despite the support of his fans and parents. They didn't understand him. 'Fictitious!' They didn't even want to try believing in him!
This was it. He was going to live and die with the vision to see 'up' and have no one to share it with.
That was until Ford Pines came along.

Designed to End is a NieR: Automata fanfiction set before the events of the game, following 2B, 9S, and A2 as their paths take them towards the event of Yoko Taro's master work. This fanfiction contains smut, violence, plenty of existential angst, as well as massive spoilers for the whole game. As such, reader discretion is STRONGLY advised.
Chapters are presently being edited to include content warnings in the headnotes and summaries in the footnotes so that people can avoid content they do not wish to interact with, but experience our vision for the story all the same.
