Summary
Jon Antilles has always followed the rules Dark Woman taught him. But right now they are in conflict. Surely Rule One (Follow the Force) is more important than Rule Thirteen (Avoid Mandalorians)? And there are children who need rescuing.
Maybe Jon isn't all that good at following the rules.
The idea that Mandalorians can recognize the Mand'alor's soulmate comes from Emrys_Fae's Fate and Choice series, which is tonally very different from this. Since that's all I'm borrowing, I haven't linked this fic as "inspired by" that series. I don't think it would please people who had liked the Fate and Choice.
The first five chapters were beta read by the wonderful geniecat2 as part of Fandom Trumps Hate.
