"So," Ghost fixes the man beside him with a look. "You think you're going to heaven when you bite it?"
"Sure," Soap says, voice low and dark with promises Ghost wants to choke on. "Maybe I'll see you there."
"Or maybe you'll look down and see me waving from below," Ghost responds.
ghost is in love with the violence of gunshots, the taste of iron in his mouth, and the cold press of a snake's tongue against his. soap is, simultaneously, none and all of the above. in one sleepless night, ghost learns to yearn for him too.

"I need... I want," Bruce pants, struggling to breathe and talk at the same time, "Fuck me, Clark..."
And if Clark ever had any doubt, it vanishes now. The man beneath him, moaning and twisting under his touch, is Batman.
There's no room left for questions. It's the same voice he heard months ago, pleading in the dark from a faceless man. Only this time, he's the one without a face. And this time, no one is eavesdropping on those sounds, because the one who used to listen is now the one making Bruce fall apart like this.
(Or, Clark thinks Batman has a very nice voice. It's been stuck in his head ever since he accidentally heard him during… sex. There's something about Bruce Wayne's voice that feels strangely familiar.)

It started out innocent and simple. When Hikaru rested his head on Yoshiki’s shoulder and asked, “Is this okay?” it usually earned him a curt nod or even a weak, “Yeah, it’s fine,” if he got lucky. It was a practice he was determined to implement after their conversation about asking before doing.
Today, he got lucky.
