Summary
The Nebula, a spaceship with an unremarkable crew aboard, has had a constant crew for a long time. There haven't been any additions or losses in a while. They don't do much, just go around the universe helping those in need and turning in criminals they come across, as demanded by their boss Stormis from the planet of Thannic.
Recently, the Interplanetary Senate gained a new species. The Terrans. A race of non-aggressive people from a hostile planet third from their star. There is little to no information on them, due to just being discovered by the Senate and only recently gifted the ability to travel through space. They miraculously climbed their way up on their planet through intelligence alone, reaching the stars and making contact with other intelligent beings for the first time. Stormis reaches out to them one day with a message from the higher-ups of Thannic.
The Nebula will be getting a new member, for the first time in years.
And it will be none other than a Terran.

Summary
Lieutenant John Price stared into the black glassy eyes of a beast he had never seen before, and felt a fear completely foreign to him. Crouched low, it watched him through the bars of his cell. Six limbs, the fuck do you even call that? Hexapedal? Fuck if he knew. Blood covered those six limbs, that's what he knew.
When Price is sent to find out if Simon Riley is alive or dead, he gets captured himself. What happens when he finds himself staring into the eyes a terrifying creature that's definitely not from earth, but is standing just outside his cell?
