the POV does switch around, and my grammar is kinda ass but the run-on sentences and the constant usage of 'and' rather than just listing with a comma is intentional
-------------After every attempt, Dazai always asked for the same thing. He'd ask for him to smile; to act happy and just pretend to be happy.
How absurd right? Dazai had almost died and now he wanted his savior to smile and pretend nothing had happened. Though as insensitive the request, Chuuya always complied.
He always gave Dazai the brightest smile he could forge, he would tear apart his face just to smile for Dazai. Anything to make him feel better, even the most vile requests. Perhaps he saw it as a way to forget as well. A way to lie to himself. He never questioned it, every single attempt was the same cycle.
Again and again and again and again and again and again.
