Summary
Like every morning, Ghost slowly pulls away, creating a gap between them as he runs ahead. When Soap drops down from a sprint to more of a jog, Ghost is far ahead of him. At one point, Soap loses sight of him completely until he hears familiar footfalls coming from behind him.
“Don’t you dare,” Soap warns as he tries to push himself into a run again.
“Sorry, can’t help it,” Ghost goades as he runs past, his pace never faltering.
“Ghost!” He yells out as his feet become heavy again and Ghost tears off ahead.

Soap has two problems. 1. He's extremely competitive and he's not reacting well when his Lieutenant beats him at everything they do. 2. He may have a little crush on Ghost and he's certainly not reading into it.
Or alternatively, Soap overhears talk about a glory hole on base and he decides to try it out for himself.
