Is to write poetry, don't!
Worry, we won't share.the following poems will, at some point, reach very dark topics, specifically about very dark places in mental health. if you don't wanna see that, think you can handle it, or just fw it right now, i don't blame you; go do something else, and if you want to come back, this work isn't going anywhere. chapters will also post inconsistently and have a wide range of lengths, so chapter count is not a good metric to measure this anthology's mass by. but do what you want. chapter-by-chapter content warnings will be posted in the notes. This is also a fic written exclusively in poetry from each character, written by them.
okay, so i just watched episode 8. first off what the fuck. second off WHAT the FUCK. i have decided that this fic takes place somewhere outside the main canon timeline, but also encompassing it without any respect toward continuity. that is, i will be drawing inspiration from whatever the fuck i want, but all characters from episode 7 are still alive and functional. essentially, i do what i want and mention whatever. it's easier this way.

Summary
The brighter the light, the darker the shadows. And in a super-powered society, those shadows are dark indeed. But whilst the world desperately trained more and more heroes, making that light brighter and brighter, the prestigious hero school, UA, had another idea. Why not tackle the problem at its source?
And so was born the infamous class 1-A. Would-be criminals from all over the country were selected, and a group of twenty now roam the halls of the school, alongside the heroes of the next generation.
Last year, the entirety of Mr Aizawa’s class A graduated. But this year was different. No, he didn’t believe they would all graduate back into society like the classes before them. He believed they could become something bigger. That was why, with gritted teeth and a manic smile, Eraser Head turned to his new class of students and said:
"You aren't villains - you never were, and you never will be. But you can take that fire inside of you and put it to good use. We're in a hero school, aren't we? Well then...
"Let's be heroes."
