Summary
Matthew knew he wasn't a fighter. He was peaceful, kind, and overall a stand-up man. There wasn't even a time Matthew can recall getting angry. He's been pissed and annoyed; he is a human after all but anger? He had never felt it before.
Matthew feels it now, though. He can feel the bitter bile rising to his throat, burning as it twists and turns through his organs. It's not a good feeling. It's one he'd rather not have. There's also a deep sense of shame and humiliation.
Those feelings are from the fact he's standing in the middle of a boxing ring in the seedy underbelly of downtown, a seemingly professional boxer hopping around Matthew. The boxer had a vicious look on his face. There was no doubt Matthew looked like a dork to him.
He's stood there with his stupid circle glasses and preppy blue vest. Hell, he even had his backpack still on.

Matthew had to fight back the urge to guffaw; this was serious. Jiwoong was sincere. Matthew was taken off-guard by the sudden request. Their sex life wasn't timid or anything of that nature. It's just that Jiwoong was mostly the dominant one, so Matthew rarely had to think about what he was doing.

It was over. Everything was so fucked. When he heard people preaching of “the end times” on his college campus, he always thought they were off the deep end. He wanted to go to apologize to them now. Matthew’s heart rate started to rise as his eyes stayed glued on the chaos happening in front of him.
His television hanging on the wall showed people shrieking while running away. The newscaster had a terrified look in her eyes as they darted around, trying to keep herself safe. The camera was shaking due to dodging the crowd of people running away.
People were eating other people. Not some sort of bath salts epidemic like in years past. People had fully gone crazy.
