“That’s why I’m telling you,” Dylan said.
But I doubt a serial killer would have sent me videos of him whimpering, Dylan thought.
Truthfully, Dylan had come around on Jun a lot over the last few weeks. So now, against his better judgement, he felt a bit bad that Jun was suffering alone, considering he’d had many prospects and turned them all down. Because Dylan had told him to. Once again, against his better judgement.
It was all because Jun seemed…different. Dylan was usually very careful, and didn’t trust easily. Especially not alphas. The way Jun acted made Dylan feel like he was more helpless puppy than dickhead alpha. Still, he couldn’t know for sure until he met him. Anyone could put on a front over the internet.

After the first time, Dylan hadn’t had any expectations about it happening again. Hopes, maybe. But even he wasn’t delusional enough to think that it would be enough to have Jun look his way after all these years. The way Jun had acted after, it was clear that Jun had an issue with something. That was why Jun suddenly acting all casual about it like he had when he’d asked to continue didn’t make any sense.
Since it was Jun, it really all could mean nothing. Or it could mean something, but since it was Jun, that could still mean nothing.

Dylan seemed completely unaffected by it all, which didn’t shock Jun anymore at this point. Still, Jun wondered if Dylan had any of the same thoughts he did. Did he ever think about the two of them and what they did at night in Jun’s room? Was it only because Jun was physically close and it was just convenient?

Jun had always been protective of his friends. Possessive, even. Though he had never crossed the line and slept with one of those friends before, so he didn’t really know how he was supposed to feel once he did.
