    Nobody had ever treated Angel like a gentleman would. Even when Valentino treated him good, he wasn't ever a gentleman - none of that stuff you saw in movies or from the fancy bank couples on their way to the opera. But apparently, Angel didn’t need a big gesture to feel like one of them - just a soft and easy place on somebody’s arm. He glanced up at the cameras torturing Alastor.

    Angel wanted someone to act like a gentleman to him.

    …It wasn't like he hadn't used overlords for things he wanted before. So if Alastor could manage to overcome being a cunt for any length of time and keep dishing out the 'gentleman', Angel could really stand to have this feeling a little while. And only in exchange for being arm candy for some petty bullshit? Fuck, that was nothing.
