Summary
Humans don’t ever really die. Slime learned this a few millennia ago.
They come back with similar features—maybe voices or faces. Slime doesn’t ever come back, though. He’s going to outlive all of them.
But being such an ancient creature comes with the baggage of trauma weighing down on his mind. Although long-gone, Las Nevadas is still a place in his mind. A place where a young slimeling was taught every wrong part of the world.

Summary
“Slime,” Quackity murmurs, his voice papery as his throat remembers. He’s only just been put back together, all the pieces of him getting reacquainted. “I didn’t…” I didn’t think I’d see you again. I don’t know if you’re here to kill me. I don’t know what it means that you did, or if you will again. “How long has it been?”
“I pushed you off of the balcony twelve and one half hours ago,” Slime says. His face is still and expressionless, his voice subdued.
Quackity’s heart is beating fast, a panicked bird inside his chest.

Summary
Phil was the ruler of the Antarctic Empire alongside his lifelong best friend. Their home was a safe haven for hybrids, something they prided themselves on. Accessible building, specialty food, the best caretakers that they could find. But most importantly, no trafficking rings on their land. And no one dared to try and take any of the citizens, lest they face the Blood God and Angel of Death personally.
But hybrid trafficking rings still existed outside the walls of their city. And every so often, Wilbur, Phil’s first adopted son, would send a letter to his dad with the location of a ring that needed to be taken down.

Summary
Eddie shifts on his bike, “The numbers, thing. With the movies, and the music. You do it an awful lot. Why?”
“Oh,” Richie sighs. “I don't know. I just memorise that stuff, the dates, titles. Makes sense to me.”
Eddie stares, and stares, and stares. “But why do you tell me them, even when you've told me before?” Eddie asks, then hesitates, “like Say Anything-“
“Nineteen eighty-nine,” Richie says in unison with Eddie, and a smile. “Because I want you to know what to look for if you like it.”
Eddie mumbles a, “I know what Say Anything is.”
