Tim never considered himself to be a ‘musical’ person. He’d listen to whatever was playing on the radio. He would whistle a tune to himself every now and then. However, he couldn’t name a time he went out of his way to listen to music. It’s not that he didn’t like music. He enjoyed it; liked having background noise if he didn’t have a Rams game playing. It’s just that Tim valued his silence. The moments of peace he got where the world would stand still.
Those moments of peace and quiet he used to get, however, became even more rare when Chen came into his life.
