“Wouldn’t miss it for the world, Jeanie,” Logan replied. Scott entered their periphery and before Scott could take his place, Logan let Jean go and held out a hand to Scott instead. Smiling, he asked, “Whadaya say, Slim?”
Scott stared at Logan’s outstretched palm as though the claws were extended and Logan was asking Scott to spill his own entrails. Jean nudged her husband - her husband! - with an elbow and nodded at Logan.“I’ll let you lead,” Logan added, mock-persuasive.
“For once,” Scott grumbled, and placed his hand into Logan’s.
Jean Grey and Scott Summers get married. Logan takes it surprisingly well.So well, in fact, that Jean sees a new possibility.

He realizes his mistake almost instantly when his back finds the wall far too quickly. There’s almost nothing of space in this little broom closet, and his eyes widen when she almost steps on his boots in order to fit with him, and finally registers what she’s said. “Wait, hold on—”
“Shush!” She closes the door on the two of them, casting them into the dark. “No time!”
Ironic.
His hands find her hips, trying his best not to hurt her as he keeps a firm grip on her, but of course she continues to shift, stepping closer, pressing herself from foot to chest into him. He whispers into her ear, “Stop. Stop moving. Please.”

“The fuck?” Ed manages, instantly getting his foot stuck in a nearby bucket.
“Sh-shh!” Stede pushes two fingers against his lips to shut him up.
Ed goes still and a bit cross-eyed, staring down at the hand on his mouth. Stede moves it away, with a mouthed “sorry!” focusing intently on the sounds outside the shed instead.
In the alley, hurried steps and shouting voices rush past; they catch fragments of: “Where the fuck did they go then?” or “Keep looking!” and even “The short one looks like a bloody birthday cake, how do you lose that—”
