"It's his work!" Agott raised her voice, trying to shout over the excited chatter, in a tone that suggested this was an argument that had been going on for some time. "It's not the same! It doesn't mean anything at all!"
If only Olruggio could understand what they were talking about.
"You and Master Qifrey are really close," Coco said with a smile as Tetia left her to wander alone.
"Yeah..." Olruggio liked to believe that it was true. Just this tone...

Summary
Beldaruit and Qifrey - and so naturally also Olruggio - over the years in the Great Hall. Also, for any interested parties, the middle scene is Qifrey coming home after the Tower of Tomes and all that entails. If that means nothing to you, I would not read this.

“Exactly.” Beldaruit sounds softer when he says, “kisses are a sign that two people are very close, or are interested in becoming very close. A parent might kiss their child on the head to soothe them, or the cheek to make them laugh. A friend, too, might kiss a cheek as a sign of affection.”
“Oh, so like Olly?” Qifrey brightens a little. It doesn’t sound so bad being that close to Olly, although the lips bit still sounds pretty disgusting.

Summary
He'd been too comfortable. Qifrey almost laughed when it hit him: this entire predicament was supposed to be anything but reassuring, but somehow, the gentle pass of time had withered away the sharp edges of his suffering. Just like the tides would smooth over the rocks of the shore again and again until they became nothing but sand, he'd grown to expect the pain, until it wasn't as excruciating anymore. It was almost like having a reason for it was enough to soften the blow.
And it did. Stars, it did.
(Or, the Silverwood tree is growing again, but this time it won't go away. Luckily, Qifrey's family has no intention of ever letting him go.)

Chapter 93 Spoilers!
The wooden floors creak as Olruggio approaches Qifrey’s door. Usually he’d unceremoniously waltz in, but decides to have more tact this time and knock. However, a sound freezes him in place, knuckle inches before the door.
It was an ever so quiet sob, so muted in fact he’d first thought it came from the girls room across the atelier. Olruggio stops breathing entirely, the only sounds present is his heartbeat and- yep that’s a sob. Coming from Qifrey’s room.
Or: The terrible chain of events that led Qifrey to Coco's home at the beginning of the manga.
