Summary
Akira was breathless, beads of blood dripping down his neck where they disappeared beneath his collar. Akechi wanted to drag his thumb across the wound he’d caused, he wanted to feel the warmth of Akira’s blood. He wanted to run his tongue over the wound.
Instead, though, he looked from Akira’s neck defiantly into his eyes, teeth grit, daring him.
He was not tapping out. If Akechi died here, he would die here having fought with everything that he had, with Akira’s weight pinning him to the ground.
“Aren’t you going to tap out?” Akira, breathless, asked him. His eyes weren’t on Akechi’s - he was watching blood drip down the side of Akechi’s face where it was inevitably pooling in his hair and congealing in it.
“Do you think you could do it?” came Akechi’s question instead, breathless, his chest rising and falling. His hands were stuck either side of him and there were few things he could do that wouldn’t result in a swift death - provided, of course, that Akira had the strength to look him in the eyes and fight with the lethal intent he’d promised.

Ranboo, a part of a small group of scavengers, happens upon sword in an ancient ruin. They do not have the time to read the warnings written on the walls. Thus they are responsible for restoring an old magical sword with a secret or two. They are not alone in this, and they wont be alone as the small party has to navigate the fallout of upsetting the magical balance of the world.or: Ranboo picks up a magical sword and gains a possible friend... possible danger? Only time will tell. Meanwhile Technoblade has to learn to trust again... and Tommy is eating mud
