Summary
Hair in a bun, skates laid out on the floor, and an idle tune hummed under his breath — he’s nearly set.
His phone starts ringing while he’s rushing towards a bench to put down his belongings, and he scrambles to reach for it in the depths of his bag. He finds it, finger poised to answer as he looks up.
And that’s when he sees him.
Even through the hockey helmet, Kaveh can see the familiar traces of gray hair. If the height and broad build weren’t a dead giveaway, that certainly squandered any doubt. Alhaitham. The Sumeru Jackals hockey team’s main defenseman. Of course… who else could it be?
Kaveh stares at him for a beat too long before snapping himself out of it. There’s no way. There is no way he’s here.
Or; Renowned figure skater Kaveh returns to the competitive scene after a season of absence. Enter Alhaitham.

Summary
He had always been left alone in then end.
Was something wrong with him? Kaveh couldn't understand why no-one stayed.
In the end he finally figured out the game of society, he followed the rules, learned how to be liked. Who cared if for that he pushed down parts of himself? Who cared if he went against his instincts for that? As long as he wasn't alone anymore it was ok.
But even when he thought that he had finally found his way people were still jealous, still greedy for what he had. Even after Kaveh had given everything it wasn't enough.
Raeves and his group wanted to be the winner of the game so they had to break down Kaveh first.
During a party they attack him and everything changes.

"My body! That's all I have left."
Alhaitham stares at him in bewilderment.
"What are you-"
"I don't want to owe anymore debts!" Kaveh yells abruptly, clenching his fists. "Nothing in life is free, I know that. I've learned that the hard way. And the last person I want to be indebted to is you."
Kaveh can't pay rent, he hasn't for eight long month, there just isn't enough money. But the last thing he wants is another thing for Alhaitham to dangle over his head.
He initiated it, but still, he never expected to find a new rent contract slipped under his bedroom door with the payment changed from mora to sexual intercourse.
AKA; Alhaitham and Kaveh use rent as an excuse to explore each other's bodies until their greed leads to more than just mere mutual lust.

Alhaitham blinked, clenching his fist tightly beneath the table to keep the tension from bleeding into his expression. “So what's the problem?”
A few moments of silence passed. “Nobody's ever been able to satisfy me,” Kaveh finally whispered.
“So what’s the problem?” Alhaitham asked again.
“Don’t trivialize it,” Kaveh snapped, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face. “It's probably psychological, but I can't unpack all my fucking trauma and trust issues in a day - which is all the time I have before the symptoms get out of control.”
“You mean... you've never -” Alhaitham started, planning on finishing his question with ‘been intimate with anyone?’ - but Kaveh cut him off and threw his hands up in the air.
“No, nobody’s ever fucking made me come, Alhaitham. Is that clear enough for you?”

Tighnari raised a brow. “Who?”
“I don’t know if you know him,” Kaveh continued. “Alhaitham.”
Cyno’s jaw dropped in utter shock, and Kaveh laughed at his widened eyes. “Exactly.”
