Ochako had been living alone for a month and a half now.
She avoided it, preferring to stay at U.A long after classes, or the junkyard near her house when she had free time, where the occasional odd civilian walked down the isolated path, and her weekends filled with her friends and training and studying or calling her parents.
She was never lonely if she was never alone.
Except, lying on her old futon, faced with a blank ceiling and a rapidly growing dizziness, she now had to face her homesickness.
Was this the promised life of an adult and hero; sick and alone because her parents couldn't afford to see her and she was too independent and old to call them anyways? Plagued with nightmares by herself because she was a hero and she'd better handle it herself?

Ochako and Izuku had it good. They’d been going steady for a little under a year and a half, so it comes as a bit of a shock when he breaks up with her out of nowhere. She had once felt comfort around her friends, but now she’s left scrambling for something else as she still tries to make the most out of her 3rd year at UA. Who knew that the most unfriendly person in their class would be just what she needed during this trying time? And if he helped make her ex jealous, she *totally* didn’t notice.
Alternatively:
Katsuki has had one of the world’s worst crushes on none other than his tiny brunette classmate for about as long as he’s been at UA. Her being newly single has him going absolutely insane. He will do whatever she asks, even if it crosses multiple lines between regular friendship and something more. Driving Deku insane is just a bonus to that.

The villain that turned Ochako Uraraka's already dumpster mess of a life into a burning garbage heap.
She was a hero, yes, but not one of the famous and glamorous heroes that her friends were. No. She often worked behind the scenes- dealing with covert rescue operations, intel gathering, and other secretive cases that other agencies refused to take on. The worst part about it was the fact that she never seemed to get a break. She practically worked from dawn to night, and being sleepless seemed to be constant for her.
She still had her friends, yes, but she hardly got the chance to see them due to her work, yet they never seemed to try and make time out of their less busy schedules and reach out to her. Her closest friends, Mina and Tsu, were the only stable friends in her life.
But with Nocturne, first becoming a secret mission for her turning into her greatest fear and enemy, there might be more to him that meets the eye to others. See, he targeted exhausted and disillusioned heroes, so of course, Ochako was a good target for him.
And how much longer would it be until she broke, just like he wanted her to.
