Because Sawamura is notoriously terrible at answering his emails, Miyuki doesn’t expect a response for another day or two, but his phone buzzes several hours later, when he’s in the middle of pan frying mackerel. “Hello?”
“You can’t just send me stuff like that with no context, Miyuki Kazuya.” The familiar tones of Sawamura’s voice rumble through his ear, so loud that Miyuki has to pull the phone away from his face. “What do you mean, pretend to go out with you?”
Miyuki asks Sawamura to do him a favor.

Summary
As the song comes to a close, everyone in the crowd is cheering loud. Sawamura soaks it all up, smile stretching as wide as it can get. Unlike last time, the band doesn’t introduce themselves. They go right into playing another song. Aotsuki starts off singing this song, but Kazuya can’t take his eyes off of Sawamura. He was being stupid thinking his feelings were just from playing baseball with Sawamura. No, Kazuya fell in love with Sawamura’s personality, his energy, his determination. Baseball may have introduced him to all of that, but Kazuya fell in love with Sawamura for everything that he is. Kazuya was in love with Sawamura the pitcher, he is in love with Sawamura the rockstar, and he would still be in love with Sawamura if he became something else. Kazuya is pretty sure he’ll never love someone the way he loves Sawamura Eijun.
