Mydeimos’s smile is sharp as he shrugs. “What’s your name again?”

“Phainon of Nowhere,” Mydeimos says, and those words disembowel Phainon, cutting into his belly and slicing clean across it. “Come to bed with me. We have a show to put on.”
In the midst of an ongoing war between Okhema and Castrum Kremnos, Mydei's mother gifts him Phainon, an Okheman bed slave he neither wants nor needs. Konohagakure has a shinobi problem. War and the kyuubi attack has left the Village sagging under the weight of too many mouths to feed with too little work available. Summary
After the invasion and the death of the Sandaime, Iruka is left behind in Konoha to pick up the pieces as Naruto leaves for his special training. It's a lonely time, and it's a tough one. Everyone is struggling, from his littlest students to his shinobi friends, and Iruka is no different—the days pass in a haze of work, rebuilding, and comforting those around him.
