Summary
(Based off what happened in the book's Epilogue: Summer) An Zhe fused a part of himself with a flowering vine, and when his hyphae absorb some of its sap, he starts feeling an inexplicable premonition. With Lu Feng being the only who can fix him, the two spend the day together until An Zhe returns to normal.

He is quiet on the drive back to Zheng Bei’s, his tongue thick and heavy with the burden of gratitude, and with fear. What the fuck is he doing? Life has never been kind to him when it comes to this, when he tries to let down his guard and rely on people. Why should this time be any different?
