Summary
Dream is weak on magic and struggling in battle, and has been for the past few weeks. After forcing himself into a fight with Nightmare and his team, he accidently gets a non-metaphorical taste of blood. He learns that the blood of mortals contain their emotions, and those emotions can be converted into magic to feed his weakened soul. Despite his guilt and regret each time, he convinces himself eating the victims of Nightmare and Error's attacks are for the greater good.
However, his hunger for blood becomes harder and harder to satiate after each meal, until he loses control and ends up harming the people he tried to protect in the first place.

Summary
You wake up as someone who has nothing left to lose, stranded in an Underground that's slowly dwindling in life. Despite being capable of crossing the barrier, you don't dare to, when you have a personal endeavor and promise in mind.
It's a different story when you're transported into an ideal alternate timeline, where your oath is rendered void. Here, with your various counterparts, you don't appreciate reliving the life of a prisoner-- especially when it's enforced by a reflection of what your Sans could've been.
(OR: In a pacifist timeline, an alternate Sans possessing a human soul appears, risking the newly established peace between humans and monsters. If Classic Sans had hair, he's pretty sure he'd still end up bald.)

Summary
Blue is a mortal with 1HP. He has to be perfect, constantly, or he'll dust.
Despite this, Blue's managed to wrangle the Guardians of Feelings into a truce, bringing a tentative peace to the greater Multiverse. This leaves Blue with an old, buzzing threat he's never quite managed to tame.
The twins aren't the only outcodes Blue's been managing.The Gang, meanwhile, are having their own issues, though none more than Killer, who's finding his emotional Drainings are working less and less by the day.
Most frightening of all, now things are a little more settled Blue may finally have to face something scarier than staring down Nightmare or Dream or the Destroyer had ever been: himself.
