Summary
Moments later, Ricky feels all the blood drain from his face, and all the air gets stuck in his lungs; he feels like a statue, completely unable to move a muscle. He is only jolted out of this trance when a hand smacks against his car window, leaving a blood print in its wake. He knows what he has to do, and he knows he does not have much time. So as soon as the retreating figure is completely out of sight, he starts his car, puts it in drive, pulls into the alley, and gets to work.
