Damian fights the sudden dizzy spell that hits him, refusing to seem weaker than he currently is. “I am Damian Al Ghul, son of Thalia Al Ghul and The Shadow, Grandson of Ra’s Al Ghul, and heir to the Demon’s Head.” He says, his voice strong reciting the title he’s had since birth. The man’s eyes widen, recognition and something else- maybe fear?- flash through his eyes. Yet he can’t help the tremble in his words as he continues. “I need…I seek sanctuary…Father…” the world tilts, his knees buckling as his vision darkens. He thinks he hears his name, but nothing matters except blissful relief from the pain.

Or, Damian runs from the murder cult and has a very bad, no good, no fun time, but a multitude of brothers make it all worth it.

She brings Tim in to help with the assignment because he had read one of the books.
He brings Steph because she had read the other book.
She brings Jason because he's good at ranting about books.
He brings Dick because he had the same teacher Damian has now.
He brings Barbara because she saves her old assignments.
She brings Duke because he's the only A+ student.
Bruce doesn't contribute much but they let him join because he wants to spend time with his kids.
Alfred is an MVP with the food.

In other words, Damian overthinks a bit, Alfred the cat breaks a vase, Damian tries to clean it up by himself and gets injured, then Bruce cleans him up and acts like an actual father.

Only when it released Scarecrow's fear gas all over the small, badly ventilated room did he manage to move again.
