Summary
Vi had spent her life believing her feelings were invalid. Raised in Zaun, where survival is all that matters, she hid her emotions behind distrust. Then came the educational program, and everything changed.
Caitlyn, an alpha through and through, always did what was expected of her. But something about the program made her question everything. It was there she met Vi—defiant, impossible to ignore. Caitlyn tried to keep her distance, but the pull between them was undeniable.
A female alpha form Piltover falling for a female omega from Zaun? In a world so divided, it was unthinkable. Yet, the connection between Caitlyn and Vi only grew stronger the more they tried to resist.
As their bond deepened, they shared stolen moments, until one night, Caitlyn stood up for Vi against a group of boys. That was the turning point—what they'd both denied finally bloomed into something more, something neither was prepared for.

Summary
He’d read the manual. He wasn’t lying to Grace when he’d told her that. The manual could suck his ass, though, for all the help it was with pregnancy.
It’s not strange to the Na’vi. Jake could walk around the Omatikaya and find half a dozen men who were pregnant. It was just…something normal to them. When Jake’s pregnancy was announced, there was such joy.
Too bad Jake can’t feel any of that joy now. The only thing he feels, besides the occasional bout of nausea and the kicking of his little rugrat, is wrongness.

Summary
“No, I don’t think so—we will test for it, but there are some other tests I would like to run, but first,” she leans forward and places a steadying hand on his knee. “Mike, what do you know about male gestational carriers?”
His stomach drops, eyes widening.
He’d only ever heard it referred to as something else—something vitriolic and demeaning.
He remembers hearing the rumors in high school about Peter Miller’s cousin from San Francisco who’d gotten bitched—remembers Peter being beaten bloody in the school parking lot because of it. Vaguely, he knows it was mentioned in a health class—in the same way that AIDS was mentioned—a disease—something that happens to sexual deviants. He knows he has heard Ted Wheeler speak about it—scoffing about so-called ‘paternity rights’ in the paper, “If a man lets himself get bitched he should be ashamed of himself—not asking the world to accept his perversions—It’s sick!”
Mike’s stomach rolls again, acid burning his throat.
He certainly feels sick right now.

Summary
Jake had never thought he’d be happy again. Not after his injury. Not since his brother’s death. Not when he’d seen the destruction of his people’s home.
But he’d found that happiness. With the woman he loves, in her home and among her people. He became one of the People. And with her, he started a family. He has kids now, a chubby-cheeked boy and a girl with eyes full of wonder. In the comfort of their hut, the small family lounged in their swaynivi.

Summary
She gave him a smile, a small one, “You are going through a difficult time, something is wrong and you have not told Neytiri.”
Jake’s hands paused at his tail, his averting from Mo’at. He wasn’t exactly sure what to tell her, how was he supposed to phrase it? ‘I am probably, 99% sure I’m pregnant but I don’t think a kid should be born into a healing forest just yet, and I was never ready to bear a pregnancy, so this whole thing is a bit freaky-weird,’ did the Na’vi even have ways for an abortion? Was it too late? Jake didn’t know, wasn’t sure if he even wanted to get rid of it, it wasn’t just his, it was Neytiri’s too.
He was a compromiser. He always had been, Tommy used to call him a pushover, a doormat, but Jake was a protector, and compromising was part of that, a big part, especially with a brother like Tommy and parents like theirs.
