Summary
Let’s take off the Taesan-colored glasses and reevaluate the current information— Woonhak is a computer science major who is constantly sociable, on top of his academics, has good fashion sense, confident, charming, hot, and can also play the drums. Taesan is many things but most of all he’s someone with high standards.
And underneath that goofy exterior, of course he knows his Woonhak is probably the most popular guy in his year— he wouldn’t expect anything less.
It’s just that Taesan is also someone who hasn’t ever learned to like sharing.
Or alternatively: A series of events where Han Taesan has to deal with the fact that other people do, in fact, want his cute boyfriend.

Without an ounce of warning, Taesan leans forward over the table and just blurts it out, his voice a harsh whisper; "Leehan. Do you think I’m homophobic?"
The timing could not have been any more catastrophic.
Leehan had just tilted his bowl, his chopsticks gathering a massive, steaming clump of thick noodles when the words left Taesan’s mouth. He lets out a violent choke, his shoulders jerking forward as he slams his bowl back down onto the table, the hot liquid splashing across the wooden surface.
"Jesus Christ, dude," Leehan wheezes, his voice raspy. "You can't just say that.”
Taesan’s new roommate is into men. It’s a fact that he’s perfectly fine with — at least, in theory. In reality, the thought of Jaehyun being with guys makes him feel sick.

"Okay," Jaehyun hums, swallowing her pain. "Night, Riwoo."
"But, if we were not talking hypothetically," Riwoo continues before Jaehyun could drown in self-pity. "I would kiss her without a doubt."
A post-apocalyptic world isn't the most fitting setting to find love, but Jaehyun still does it — in the shape of a girl with funny glasses and braces.

Jaehyun didn’t notice, but Taesan couldn’t unsee it. "Hyung," he said softly, forcing the words past his burning throat. "It’s...visible, your pants."
It wasn’t shame that stopped him from saying the word. It wasn’t disgust, it was flustered awe. He had seen something intimate, raw, private. Something he wasn’t meant to, and it left him shaken.
Jaehyun blinked, finally looking down. And then, panic, full-body panic. The kind that hijacks breath and floods the chest with dread. He looked around wildly, desperate to find something, anything. But the staff had taken everything. There was nothing left to cover himself.
“Fuck,” Jaehyun whispered, more to himself than anyone else, his voice was trembling, his face had drained of color. And Taesan could see it, the anxiety unraveling him like a live wire.
(OR, Jaehyun had hated it for as long as he could remember, this “difference” that made him feel exposed, ashamed and separate from the world’s expectations of a man. But Taesan, he didn’t see it that way. In his eyes, Jaehyun was still the most beautiful being he had ever known, every part of him perfect just as it was.)
