“Wait, hold on,” the man said, raising his free hand in a peaceful gesture. “You must be the guy Hanta sent. I didn’t think you’d be getting here until later this evening, or I would have cleared out the renovation stuff from the entryway.”
“Hanta told me the house was empty,” Katsuki stared at him. “He said his friend lived in the city and was just letting me use the place.”
“Well, Hanta usually gets half the story right,” the man laughed, a deep sound that seemed to vibrate in the open air. “I’m Kirishima Eijirou. This is my place, but I spend most of my time out here or in the shed working on the repairs.”
Katsuki looked him over again, trying to reconcile the image of Hanta’s sophisticated city friends with this paint-stained man standing in the mud.
Kirishima didn’t seem to recognize him at all, or if he did, he didn’t care about the fame that usually made Katsuki’s life a living hell.
It was disarming.

Somewhere between starting at U.A. and now being in his last semester, Bakugou Katsuki had mellowed out. What was once never ending, scathing insults and pitting himself against the world, became indignant scowls, annoyed eyerolls and ballbusting that was mostly bark and maybe a tiny bite. But that younger, insecure version of himself who raged in an effort to keep the fear at bay, was still inside of him. He would always be there, blazing against Bakugou's chest for being soft and weak and relying on others like a little bitch.
OR: I wanted to put Bakugou into therapy so he could work through his shit and also have a gay awakening.

"Lucky I don't really care right now what 'everyone' wants to do, then." Atsumu swivels his mug around on the tabletop a few times, and then brings it to his mouth to drain the last few dregs of his latte. Over the rim of his mug, he adds casually, "Just you."
