Summary
Valarr Targaryen is married to Kiera of Tyrosh and is set with the task of producing heirs. After an emotional day, he rides out of Kings Landing to clear his head when he stumbles upon a maiden who lives by herself in the woods. What begins as concern for her wellbeing and wanting to get away grows into something more, he must try to keep his two lives separate: one as heir to the throne and one as a simple knight who is no Targaryen.
This is only my second full length story so please excuse the story telling, I'm still learning. Valarr is a little selfish in this one but still a cutie with a heart <3 Hope you enjoy!

Summary
The corner of his mouth twitched almost imperceptively. “Are you?”, he wondered.
You could only blink at him owlishly, still hung up on the thought of possibly seeing him smile… “What?”
“Northern through and through.”
Reason returned to you as the meaning of his words settled in. He wants to know whether you are wild , you thought to yourself. Whether you can’t be tamed.
“I’m afraid so, your Grace”, you breathed, staring into his eyes, feeling caught in a snare.
There was no use in lying. No matter how much you read about Targaryen history, how many Southern dances you learned or how many courtly rules you studied, you’d always yearn for the sound of the waves crashing against the shore of the Sunset Sea, for a run through the Wolf’s Wood, for the smell of salt and snow in the air.
His head bowed slightly, eyes never leaving your face, as if he were searching for something.
“Good”, he finally said.

Summary
"When I was little, Aerion used to come into my bed chamber at night, put his knife in between my legs. He had too many brothers, he’d say. Maybe one night, he’d make me his sister. Then he could marry me.
When my sister found out, she threatened him with a knife to his throat and placed the head of his horse on a spike. Aerion did not bother me much after that."
Princess Maerea Targaryen, named in honour of her grandmother, a previous ward of Princess Daenerys of Dorne, travels to Ashford and is horrified to find two of her brothers are missing.

Summary
Your marriage to Prince Valarr Targaryen wasn’t meant to happen. Nothing about your small, obscure house, your quiet life, or the carefully measured path you predicted for yourself could have made this possible. Perhaps, generations ago, some long-forgotten oracle, or fate itself, spun your marriage as a half-cruel joke, sealing your destiny with words no one understood. Yet, here you are, bound to him, and he keeps reminding you exactly who you belong to.

Summary
After Ashford Tourney, Prince Valarr Targaryen returns to a silence no victory can touch. His father lives. The realm endures. But the gods take their due regardless—his wife lost to blood and stillness, his child gone before breath ever came. And Valarr, ever composed, does what he has always done. He carries it. Not loudly. Not visibly. But with a weight that settles into bone and does not leave.
The realm does not grant him the luxury of standing still. He is heir to the heir still. And so the future is placed before him once more, not as choice—but as expectation. A second marriage. A new alliance. And this time—the path does not lead to unfamiliar ground.
It leads to Emberlyn Arryn, a presence once known in softer, quieter ways—glimpsed across tourneys, remembered in passing thoughts that were never given voice. Not love. Not then. But something gentler. Something almost begun, before duty carved another road entirely. Now she returns not as memory, but as possibility.
Somewhere between dragonfire long faded and falcon wings cutting through open air, something begins to shift. What happens when something born to rule the sky.. learns, not to fly alone.
