Summary
Being a member of slipknot was not on your 1999 bingo card, but hey, you're not mad about it. As of currently, you'd been loving it. Playing the shows with the guys, being the second vocalist, adding another layer to the 'madness', as Corey likes to call it, and just being in the presence of the very band you'd admired from day one. Not even just in the presence, but being the band. And such a big role too.
Your parents weren't fond of it. They weren't exactly strict, but they didn't enjoy their little girl flying from the nest at the ripe age of 23, and travelling the world and making lots of money and—... man they just didn't get it. They never will.
And now, being in the tourbus for the 5th time with Slipknot, touring the U S and the A, you'd never felt better.
